Cozy Restaurant Covered Bridge

The Cozy Restaurant Covered Bridge was originally located at the Cozy Restaurant in Thurmont, MD, Frederick County until around 2008 when it was replaced with an unenclosed, white painted, lattice bridge or trellis. The bridge was relocated across the street at the corner of Moser Road and Route 806 but then mysteriously disappeared around 2010. The Restaurant was closed in 2014 and has been dismantled. The bridge was bought by housing developer Tom Kettler and placed on a community trail over a small stream leading to a playground. It is part of the Brightwell Crossing housing community in Poolesville, MD. Thanks to David Frick for informing us of the relocation of Cozy Restaurant Bridge. Photos taken September 10, 2016.
