Gunpowder Falls Covered Bridge crossed the Gunpowder Falls on Belair Road between Perry Hall and Kingsville in Baltimore County. The current day Belair Road was previously the Baltimore and Jerusalem Turnpike (incorporated 1867) and also Perry Hall Road (as shown on 1801 map). Earlier maps show Belair Road as Bell Air Road.¹
The Gunpowder Falls Bridge is similar to Forges Bridge that crossed Gunpowder Falls on Philadelphia Road not far from Belair Road.
